Притча."В качестве примера Святой Кабир привел нам случай со скорпионом, лежащим в
воде в очень ужасном состоянии. Он пытался достать его из воды и положить
на сушу. Но когда он коснулся скорпиона, тот ужалил его так больно, что
Кабиру пришлось отдернуть руку. Немного погодя он протянул руку снова, но
скорпион опять сильно ужалил его. Так Святому Кабиру пришлось во второй раз
отдернуть раненую руку. Тем не менее он пытался несколько раз протягивать
руку, чтобы поднять скорпиона. Его спутник наклонился к нему и спросил:Что
ты делаешь? Разве ты не знаешь, что он будет жалить тебя опять? Кабир
ответил: Да, я знаю это! Тогда зачем ты протягиваешь руку, чтобы он
снова ужалил тебя? Кабир сказал: Я протягиваю руку не для того, чтобы
получить другой укус, а чтобы помочь ему! Человек сказал: Ты пытаешься
помочь ему, но это его единственная врожденная привычка жалить. Кабир
ответил: Если ему нельзя изменить свою привычку, почему я должен менять
свою? Это мой способ действия. Я не меняю его, а он не меняет свой."
Вполне классическая притча призванная делать людей лучше. Ее легко принять в качестве руководства к действию. Проблема лишь в том, что люди не святые. У них короткий век. Довольно глупо тратить его на достижение святости. Упортство, даже в добрых делах, на каком-то этапе легко превращается в идиотизм.
